Simon Steinhauser (1979, Lienz) moved to Vienna after a training as carpenter and studied architecture at the Technical University Vienna. Since the establishment of the performance collective God's Entertainment in 2006 he is permanent member of the group. He creates performative works in various formats for God's Entertainment, Super Nase & Co and others. His collaborative performances and works were shown at the following venues: Wiener Festwochen, Gallery ve.sch, Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, brut Wien, CA2M Madrid, Bauhaus Dessau, Liverpool Biennial, Divus unit 30 London etc. He co-organizes the art festival/residency Hotel Amazonas.Simon Steinhauser lives and works in Vienna and South Tyrol.
